How discount codes work

Venues can create percentage discounts, fixed-amount discounts, or Buy X Get Y offers directly in their Teebly dashboard. Promotional codes are applied at checkout and are useful for venues looking to fill off-peak hours, offer a recurring discount for staff or local partnerships or create limited-time offers.

Discount code configuration

Discount type	Example
Fixed Amount	Gives customers a set dollar amount off a booking.
Percentage	Gives customers a percentage off their booking subtotal.
Buy X Get Y	Gives customers extra time when they purchase a set amount.

Discount setting	Purpose
Code	Creates the customer-facing promo code, such as SUMMER20.
Max discount	Caps the total discount amount when needed.
Valid from	Sets when the discount becomes active.
Valid to	Sets when the discount expires.
Max uses	Limits the total number of times the code can be used.
Max per user	Limits the number of times each customer can use the code.
Max per cart	Limits how many times the code can be applied in one checkout.
Unlimited uses	Allows the code to be used without a usage cap.
