How memberships work
Sell memberships at your venue.
Venues can create recurring memberships or seasonal passes, set pricing and perks and make plans publicly available or privately share invitation links with specific customers. Once configured, golfers can purchase membership directly from your Teebly booking site.
Membership options
| Membership type | How it works |
|---|---|
| Recurring membership | Charges members on a recurring billing cycle. |
| Seasonal pass | Gives members benefits for a defined season, with a set start and end date and a one-time payment. |
Venues can offer multiple membership tiers with different pricing and perks. For example, a venue might offer a recurring membership for year-round golfers and a seasonal pass for winter golfers.
Creating memberships
| Option | How it works |
|---|---|
| Pricing | Set the price for each membership plan. |
| Setup fee | Optionally add a one-time setup fee to a membership. |
| Membership dates | Set start and end dates for seasonal passes. |
| Billing timing | Collect payment upfront or on the membership start date. |
| Perks | Add benefits to each membership tier. |
| Visibility | Make memberships publicly available or hide them and share invitation links with specific customers. |
| Sign-up cutoff | Set a date after which customers can no longer sign up. The membership is automatically removed from your Teebly booking site once the cutoff date arrives. |
| Complimentary memberships | Issue memberships to customers at no charge. |
Venues can collect sign-ups before a membership begins while delaying payment until the start date. This is useful for venues preparing to open that cannot collect payment before opening, or for seasonal memberships released early.
Managing memberships
Venues can manage members, adjust membership plans and track invitations directly in their Teebly dashboard.
| Feature | How it helps venues |
|---|---|
| Member management | Search for members by name or email and manage their memberships as needed. |
| Plan management | Review membership plans and adjust or extend offerings as needed. |

| Invitations | Track pending, accepted, expired and revoked invitations. |
| Upcoming renewals and expirations | Review upcoming membership renewals and pass expirations within 30 days. |
Private and complimentary memberships
Venues can hide membership plans and share invitation links with specific customers. This is useful for offering selected customers early access or making a membership available to a certain customer group.
Venues can also issue complimentary memberships, useful for customer appreciation, competition prizes or local partnerships.
