I've been coming to Hack Shack for years and it's the best place to practice golf in the city. If you work in Midtown or live in the area, this should be your go-to spot. TrackMan Technology: Hack Shack uses TrackMan simulators, which are the gold standard in launch monitor technology. No lining up balls with lasers or any other gimmicks. They're extremely accurate and the same systems the pros use. You get real, reliable data every single time. The Atmosphere: This is not your typical simulator spot. Forget the video game music and Chuck E. Cheese vibes that some other NYC venues have going on. Hack Shack is a genuinely nice facility. Relaxed, focused, and the kind of place you actually want to spend time practicing. Lessons with Evan Cather: If you're looking to improve, book a lesson with Evan. I've worked with a lot of coaches over the years and he's the best I've had. I have had him coach me now for over 2 years. He's a true professional who will get your game back on track. He's around frequently, so finding time is easy, and if you purchase a package the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend.

I recently discovered The Hack Shack in NYC, and it quickly became my go-to spot for indoor golf! As someone who loves the game but hates battling the weather, their state-of-the-art golf simulator setup with Trackman technology is a game-changer. You can play on a huge variety of virtual courses, feeling like you’re right on the fairway without leaving the city. What sets this place apart is the vibe—it’s not just about grinding through 18 holes; it’s a perfect hangout with pals. We grabbed some adult beverages, watched Sunday Night Football on the big screens, and laughed our way through a casual round. The inclusive environment welcomes everyone, from beginners like my friend who was new to indoor golf, to pros honing their skills. I even booked a lesson with one of their accomplished instructors, and it took my swing to the next level without any pressure. For corporate events, it’s unbeatable—our team bonded over a customized session that was seamless and fun. And if you’re a regular, their memberships offer great perks without breaking the bank. If you’re searching for the best golf simulator experience or top-notch indoor golf in NYC, The Hack Shack is the ultimate destination. Highly recommend—can’t wait to go back!

This place is awesome. First off, it’s clearly built for serious practice. The space feels clean, professional, and really dialed in — the kind of setup where you can take real swings, work on consistency, and get quality reps without distractions. It doesn’t feel gimmicky at all, which I appreciated. At the same time, it is such an easy win for a group because everyone can enjoy it at their own level. The more experienced golfers got to treat it like a focused session, and the beginners still felt comfortable jumping in and having a great time. If you’re in New York City and want a premium indoor golf simulator that’s genuinely great for practice and a smart idea for a small corporate event, this is the place.

I’ve been coming to Hack Shack for 7 years now — through two name changes and a whole lot of NYC trends. And somehow, the best parts have never changed. The rooms are massive. Almost twice the size of Five Iron. You’re not squeezed in praying your driver doesn’t tattoo the drywall behind you. You can actually swing freely — like a normal human. What I love most is the vibe. It’s low-key. No techno club energy. No finance bros ripping raspberry vodka shots between swings. No influencers filming slow-mo stingers for TikTok while you’re trying to groove your 7-iron. Just golf. All the sims are TrackMan. Which in my opinion are the best brand of simulators to improve your game. Clean bays. Quiet atmosphere. You can actually hear impact and think. You can practice with intention. I have my own clubs and store them there but they supply anyone with quality TaylorMade clubs. Hack Shack feels like it was built for people who actually care about getting better — or just want to play in peace. If you’re looking for a relaxed, legit golf simulator experience in NYC where you can swing hard, work on your game, and not feel like you’re in a nightclub, Hack Shack is it.

Honestly the best spot to hit a few balls during lunch. I work a few blocks away in Midtown and hate trekking out to an outdoor driving range in Jersey. The setup here is way better anyway. AC, cold beers, and the staff is super chill. Solid spot to blow off steam.

I love that I can play a full indoor golf course rotation in like 45 minutes on my lunch break. No walking, no waiting on slow groups. Just efficiency. Great for getting rounds in during the work week. Great people as well!
