Bear's Virtual Golf

Awesome facility with high-tech equipment, comfortable private rooms, demo clubs, putting areas, local restaurants… truly a great sim. The owner, Jerre, is honest and fair- he treats his customers right. He will always accommodate a reasonable request, and never pushes for straight up sales or profit. He is knowledgeable about the game and equipment and always a pleasure to chat with before/after a session. He’s constantly working to improve the facility, though I don’t know what else could be done to make this place any better. Fletcher is among the best, if not the best coach in CT. His methodology is flexible and tailored to each students abilities and limitations. He doesn’t teach every student to swing like Tiger, because our bodies are not Tiger’s. Look at the variation in swing techniques on tour- the pros highlight their natural strengths and mitigate their weaknesses by adapting their swings to fit their bodies. Fletch does the same. His instruction is data driven, concise and intuitive, and he always answers questions by text when you’re practicing at home or just have an idea that you’re unsure of. It is clear to me that he truly cares about his students’ success. I cannot recommend Bear’s Virtual Golf and Fletcher’s coaching enough.

I’ve been going to Bear’s for 2 years now since I started as a novice golfer in their virtual golf league. Jerre has been incredibly helpful with new fittings and even helped my 7 year old daughter get fitted for her first set of clubs. Separately, their Pro, Fletch is top tier and has helped my handicap drop from high twenties into mid teens over just a couple of years. This place is the true definition of small business that takes care of its community. Thank you Jerre for all that you do.

Bears golf is a great shop / practice area and very affordable the staff is top notch and the lesson have help mold my game and make me A much better player. Also they stock the newest clubs and gear for all of your needs couldn’t recommend them enough
