X-Golf Algonquin

Absolutely horrible. The screen did not work and was super laggy. It was super blurry and I could barely see. The ball kept not coming out of the holder, and the tee would not go up. The readers on either side kept breaking because the mat kept on moving. The mat was so big we could barely hit off of the tee. Poor service, we waited 30 minutes for chips and drinks. Would not be coming back. They still charged us for everything even though the inconvenience. We saw on other bays that everybody else had the same problem.

We waited 15 minutes due to a projector switch out and we reserved a bay for one hour. We did not get compensated for the 15 min that were stolen from us. Arrived at our booked time, 4pm. Did not get a bay until 4:15pm. 5pm sharp we were kicked off the bay. Really rude waitress, after the fact offered a different bay, but we had no interest in staying due to the interactions with staff. Offered to get the manager and then never did. Staff need to be focused on problem solving when these types of issues arise. No offer to discount the hour or comp the Diet Coke ordered. We had to wait so why does the next group not have to wait? Just overall bad experience and I’ve been to other x golfs where staff are much more accommodating. Really disappointed with this location. Go to another XGolf.

Every couple of shots the sim would freeze, or no balls coming out. The person working the desk kept having to come over and fix the machine. Screen had holes in it kept loosing balls also the image was very dull and very hard to see anything. Definitely not worth the money with all the other sim options in the area. Definitely won’t be going back. Felt really sorry for the employee working my sim was not the only one with problems.

Friend and I stopped by to check out this place. We are both not huge golfers but we wanted to come in to drink and have fun. Staff was extremely friendly, place was very clean. Definitely nice to have this place in our area for an option for after dinner activity. We will be back in the future.
