Wisconsin Skydiving Center

Can't say enough good about Wisconsin Skydiving Center and ALL of the team there! I jumped this last weekend for the 2nd time, both times I jumped with Riley from the team, he is unbelievable!! He made both jumps something I will never forget. From the class, to getting back to the ground, Riley was very patient, professional, and explained everything! On the way down he pointed out different land marks and even let me steer the parachute. If you have ever wanted to jump, HIGHLY recommend Wisconsin Skydiving Center. My 18 year old and I were looking an unforgettable father-son experience to mark the end of childhood. After deciding on Sky diving certification, we did extensive nation-wide research- 1- Safety Record 2- Highly experienced instructors 3- Open 7 days a week 4- Willing to do a semi-private class 5- Fun drop zone/hangar culture Wisconsin Sky Diving Center rated in the top 5 in the country according to chatGPT! (I now know why). We are from Washington DC- it was worth the drive. Alex and Bo, husband and wife team, answered all of our questions. Bo personally greeted us on arrival and conducted the ground school. By the end of the first day we were already jumping! Over the next 10 days we got to meet many remarkable instructors, coaches, packers and pilots. It has the comfortable feel of a “club” with the professionalism of a military operation. We got to learn from at least 5 different instructors and as many coaches. Each person had a unique approach and background that added to the learning. Everyone made it clear that safety comes first- no cutting corners on emergency procedure reviews or flight plans. Triple safety checks on all the equipment before deploying. When the sun set the campfire would roar, the BBQ fired up and the fun continued late I to the evenings. I was pleasantly surprised half of the staff and some of the most experienced sky divers were women. I got some of my best realtime landing pattern coaching from Jessica. It’s an international team with instructors from the USA, Italy, Mexico, Serbia and more. It was absolutely an unforgettable experience, my favorite vacation in my 56 years. I will be forever grateful the many people that treated us like family. As an added bonus, it was the ultimate dog friendly place! End result? We earned our license in 10 fun filled, challenging days!

This is my 3rd time jumping and every time is unique and memorable. I already booked my next jump! It’s a great family oriented event we had 8 people that jumped and 10 that came along to watch. We grilled out and made a day of it. A special shout out to Sam he was my tandem partner and also my youngest son’s partner for his very 1st jump. I felt very comfortable and safe. He was a ton of fun!! Thanks for another amazing time can’t wait to see you next year!
