We usually love to play this course. There is no pressure if you are learning and are a little slower to get the ball where it needs to go. Until today. We showed up about ten minutes before our tee time and were waiting for our fourth. We checked in. There was no one in front of us or behind us. We stood at the first tee and did a few practice shots while we were waiting. A couple minutes before our tee time the old guy from the office came out and cussed us out about how long we were taking. We explained that we were waiting for our last member and our tee time was just starting. He said he would be watching to make sure we weren’t taking too long. It completely ruined the game. I felt rushed and like I was being unfairly targeted. I’m not sure I will ever go back. We go used there fairly often. Also, we were on the fourth hole before anyone came after us so I’m not sure why he decided to be a jerk to us.
Incredible value on a smaller but challenging course. I’ve had a ball playing this course on a monthly pass that is the best golf bargain I’ve ever seen. And it has a covered driving range, plus separate practice greens for putting and chipping. And man, do I need all that! Friendly staff too. And I’ve seen the grounds crew out there working every day. I’m able to play as much golf as I want, and without having to take out a second mortgage to finance it. Amazing. (BTW - I see reviews mentioning good practice for irons, which is true, but I don’t hit irons 289 yards for example, so I find it’s good practice for woods as well.) Update 7/22: Major work done on the greens last winter. Excellent putting surface now. My compliments!
This is a nice 18 hole community Golf course for a par 3 course. Low budget course so not much watering but plenty of shade. For two people with Military discount it was $20 dollars for nine holes. On average we take about 1 and half hours for 9 holes. Great staff, has small Pro shop, driving range, putting green, and a chipping Green. Enjoy a nice afternoon on a not so crowded course.
