Town of Niskayuna Driving Range

Seem to use literally any excuse to close this range. What good is it if you can never access? Hasn’t rained in 2 weeks, but been closed for 2 weeks due to weather. Field is mowed and completely dry, cannot understand why it’s never open, very frustrating Update 6/18 - 80° out, no rain, field is dry…still closed Update 7/1 - been open more often last couple of weeks and has been nice to come here when open Update 7/22 - closed for a while over previous weeks because the ball picker was dead and needed repair Today it’s open, but the credit card machine is broken so cannot be used…

I'm sad that they don't seem to be opening this season. You can practice driver here and it's a really nice setup otherwise. Update: weather made cleaning balls off the range impossible and it's one guy doing all the work. It's been a great find, it's cheap and well-kept.

Nice perk for the town when it's open, but it is rarely ever open when it's supposed to be. Constantly "out of balls" or closed for days any time it rains.
