Tijuana Flats

I’ve been dining at this Tijuana Flats location for years and it’s always been a pleasant experience!! The food is always served hot and fresh!! Staff are very nice and helpful!! The decor is interesting and adds to the character of the restaurant. They have indoor table and booth seating. Also, there is outside seating as well!! Definitely recommend this location!!

Claudette is a total breath of fresh air. Her customer service skills are out of this world and her excitement and enthusiasm are contagious. I came in to the restaurant and she was literally doing a happy dance for a catering order that was going out. As I ordered, she greeted a regular by name. She didn't take my order but when she came out to see if I needed anything, she asked me by name what else she could do to make my lunch better. She recognized the regular didn't order the normal meal and made sure that it was made correctly. For the food, my burrito was filled to the brim and made perfectly. If I lived here, I'd come all the time. I own a small business in food service and this is the experience we strive to provide and I love seeing it and experiencing it!

What happened to this once great restaurant? When did they stop offering black bean and beef tacos without an up-charge? I ordered beef with black bean tacos. That use to be a menu option. I paid over 15 dollars for two tacos because of the up- charge for black beans. I also added black beans and rice on the side. That no longer comes with a drink like it use to. The black beans and rice was all rice, barely any beans. The tacos were awful. The beef was burnt tasting and left a terrible after taste. The ratio of beans to beef was just a mess. Let's talk about the service. I was checked out by a manager. He informed me that they don't offer black bean and beef tacos and acted as if they never did. I'm a former employee and know for a fact the did. He also seems ill informed on the rewards program. To recap. The food was junk and way overpriced. Burnt beef. A ridiculous ratio of beans to been and beans to rice on the side. No drink without a further up-charge. Avoid this place at all costs. 18 dollars for two tacos and a tip is insane. I called the restaurant to complain about the quality and their response was to hang up the phone and do nothing about the terrible food.
