We visited Tiger Shark Cove park while we were in Wellington with time to burn on a Thursday about mid-day. It wasn’t over crowded, probably because of the day/time we went. I can’t speak for the bathrooms but the park itself was very clean. I didn’t notice anything broken. I really liked the canopies above the swings that provide shade. I also noticed multiple shaded areas for parents to sit and watch their kids. Which I appreciate because most parks we’ve been to lack shade. My 15 year old and 3 year old really enjoyed the park. We spent a little over an hour here.
The facility is quite creative and engaging on its own. During our visit, there was a birthday party taking place, which added to the lively atmosphere. However, some concerns need to be addressed. Leftover food from kids inside the facility seemed to have attracted mice, which is a serious hygiene issue. Additionally, some of the slides had visible cracks and require repairs. The ground floor area, where toddlers love to crawl and hide, also needs more frequent and thorough cleaning. With a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this place has the potential to be truly excellent.
The closest comparable playground will probably be in Boca. This one is very nice with lots of things to do. Safe to be and let kids play on their own, feels a bit dated though
