The Point After

Came here for my first time tonight. It seemed like a super local bar where everyone knew everyone, but they didn’t treat me any differently. The bartenders and waitstaff were all amazing and super attentive. The food and drinks were all fantastic, the garlic burger was the best I’ve ever had in Utah. (And that’s a HUGE thing in Utah apparently) What threw me off tho was when I got my bill. I gave them my card they inserted it into an electronic scanner and handed it back to me which gave me an automated tip amount. The amounts were 15% 18% and 20%? That didn’t make sense me. Subway, that pays employees an hourly wage, starts at that. Why wouldn’t the owner of this fine establishment have his tip amounts at something like 20% 25% and 30%? That doesn’t make sense to me. Why would you have the minimum acceptable tip be the highest tip amount showed to a drunk customer and not the starting amount? Management should look into this.

An absolute local favorite. Good vibes with an incredible weekday lunch special. Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, or at least knows what you want to drink.

I’m still thinking about what should always be known as “Cheryl’s Fried Chicken Tacos”. We had them last night after tennis and I’m still thinking about the incredible flavor combination . Amazing.
