The Metropolitan

This is the sixty seventh 67 floor of the Willis Tower or formally called this Sears Tower. You have to have a reason to be here with an ID otherwise you cannot be here. The Metropolitan club has membership ($180 per month as a base per person) for those who want to join or I guess you could come here for food, but you may have to reserve in advance because it’s very strict Security here. Please bring your IDs at all times. It’s a beautiful club. The views are amazing of the whole city and they have events at the Metropolitan club all the time. There’s also a room with a golf simulator as well as a little lounge where you can enjoy.

My hubby and I went on a date for the sensory experience. The space is gorgeous. We even got to see fireworks from Navy Pier. Drinks were good. It was a unique experience with the projection of a digital story on the table. Very cool dish delivery. All were delivered sinchronously. Food was ok. Very small portions. Brocollini was undercooked. Meat was so fatty, there was very little actual meat. Desert looked super cool, and hand spun cotton candy was nice but the chocolate cake was a disappointment. Honestly, it felt like a 2day old cake from Walmart, very dry and cream in between was too sweet and gross. For the amount of $$ we paid it wasn't worth it. If the food could catch up with the concept of delivery and space it would be perfect

I love being an invited club member, and so impressed with the customer service, chic interior design, and amenities…at EVERY location I have visited. The Metropolitan was exquisite. I felt “important”. My husband and I came to Chicago for our daughter’s graduation, and I secured a day at the Metropolitan with concierge so that we could have lunch, hit a few balls, and prep for my business meeting. The dining experience at Craftsman was superb! The presentation of the fresh lobster bisque left me eager to indulge in my cocktail and entree. My center cut filet was at the perfect temperature with a flavorful cloud coating of blue cheese. The amenities are perfect and convenient for a member and a traveling member. I give the entire experience a 5-star and we’ll return.
