The Local Open

Such a cute spot for brunch and golf lovers alike! The Bananas Foster French toast was AMAZING! So rich! This place is a scratch kitchen, so everything is made to order. If you are a golfer, there are 5 golf simulator bays that you and up to three of your buddies can hit golf balls. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender/server was Audrey, who was super cool! This place is so good. My husband and I will definitely be back!

I’ve visited The Local Open in Prosper multiple times, and I’ve always loved the food, atmosphere, and service. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff consistently provide friendly, attentive service. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but my recent brunch visit truly stood out. I ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely out of this world—easily the best French toast I’ve ever had. It was perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and worth coming back for on its own. I highly recommend this place overall, but their French toast is an absolute must-try!

We absolutely loved The Local Open! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and attentive specifically Jack and Alexis, they were so kind and welcoming! making sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish had that homemade touch that makes it stand out. I also really appreciated the cozy vibe, it feels like a place where you can relax and truly enjoy yourself. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a full meal, The Local Open is definitely worth the visit. Can’t wait to come back! (The price doesn’t include the old fashion)

This place is the bomb. This place is a reflection of the owner, who is an amazing person. I have eaten here several times, and everything is extremely delicious. I think this is the best food in Prosper, TX. All the food is fresh and not frozen like most places. Best French toast I've ever had; also, let me add they have the best burgers in Prosper and Frisco, TX. Please treat yourself and stop by. You will not be disappointed, but you may get addicted. Drinks are on point and are my favorite part.

Went with the family ( seven of us) on Oct 14th . That was yesterday. The atmosphere was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly. As it was the first time for us we wanted to understand how the games were played. The staff were very patient esp. with the kids. We had a wonderful time . The staff were not intrusive , but checking up to see how we were doing. What with the food and drinks we had a gala time smacking the golf balls all over the place. Thank You.
