The Living Room Wine Cafe & Lounge

Went here for lunch with friends for the first time. I ordered the GRILLED NEW YORK STEAK SANDWICH which I thought would have had a full steak in it but turned out to be just a few small slices. The flavor was good. I would not recommend if you’re hungry. I would have preferred a steak in the end as I felt it wasn’t as filling as I had anticipated. The atmosphere here is fabulous. I was in great company. Overall it’s a nice place and my friends were happy with their meals.

I decided to try this place out because it was a halfway point for me and my sister to meet for cocktails and happy hour. I was a little concerned about the reviews posted. I was pleasantly surprised the place was fairly busy, but the waitstaff was beyond friendly and courteous. I was met at the door by a gentleman that greeted me with a smile and also noticed I was celebrating my birthday and acknowledge that right off. Followed by the waitress who also stop by to say happy birthday. The environment and people seemed upbeat, and the decor was trendy. They had a large selection of wine and pretty extensive menu for a wine bar. My sister and I were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service. I would highly recommend.

This has to be the worst service at the bar of any place in Phoenix! You have to beg for a beer, bartenders absolutely will not refill your glass unless you beg. They drop off your bill and don't say thank you assuming they're going to get a dip which I don't! Good news is I buy my beers and don't tip so actually save money by the bad service so begging for a beer has a value By the way I've learned not to eat here because of the service, I eat before I get here, I have no idea how good the food is. Trying to cash out and there's no bartenders in the picture, that's after 15 minutes
