The HUB Grill and Bar

Stopped by for lunch today as happy hour started at 2:12pm.....I was surprised and impressed by the whole experience from cold draft beers, Angus beef mushroom burger, roasted turkey/avocado sandwich, coleslaw, and side of Mac n cheese. In addition, the manager Stopped by with a complimentary appetizer. Seriously, everything was most delicious and the service was excellent. Really impressed with this bar n grill atmosphere (more tv's than I could count)......what a great place to catch sports, and the best food with cold beer. My best compliments to the hard working people that make this business the best neighborhood sports bar. And this is no exaggeration!

We were in town for a soccer tournament last weekend and stumbled upon The Hub, and I am so glad we did! Our sever was hilarious, kind and so attentive ( I wish I could remember her name!) I asked if they had any gluten free options and she said “we sure do! We have a whole menu.” I was so happy I could have cried. Whenever we go out to eat I usually get stuck having to order a salad but not this time. I ordered the fish and chips, they were fantastic, so was my margarita! My kiddo got the Holy Batman burger and a mango lemonade, there was so much food he barely made a dent! Oh, I almost forgot to mention it, but the manager brought me a free g.f. biscuit and my son some delightful flat bread. Thank you for making our first night in Mesa such a bright spot in our trip!

The holy bacon batman burger was really good. The beef patty was thick and juicy and perfectly cooked to order. Plenty of bacon on it, the flavors were good and I really enjoyed my meal. The tots were crispy and nasty. I also enjoyed the wobbly bob, church music and the hazy was also a local tasty. Enjoyed the atmosphere, lots of room on there and the bartender was awesome. Chatted it up a bit with her and a nearby father and son. Definitely could spend more time here and enjoying the outdoor porch on another day. Come in, check it out and order some food, it all looked good.
