Bought a new custom driver that has helped my slice dramatically. Pricing was very fair and the owner was very personable. Nice to buy from a local shop rather than a big box too
Jerry at The Club Maker isn’t just good; he is, without a doubt, the best in town for all your golf club needs. If you want someone who genuinely cares about your game and pays meticulous attention to detail, look no further. I have gone to Jerry for everything from simple grip replacements to more complex shaft installations and club adjustments, and I have never been disappointed. He doesn’t just slap on a new grip; he takes the time to ensure everything is aligned and correct. For grips, shaft installations, adjustments, and any other club repairs you can think of, Jerry is the only person I trust. He consistently goes above and beyond, and the results speak for themselves. I would give him 5 stars all around!
I met this man a year ago and he did a great job on fixing my clubs and gave me a great price on a club I was selling. I went there today and I was never so insulted in my life. I’d rather throw the clubs in the dumpster, take the offer he gave me. He is arrogant, cocky, and just not a very good human being. I don’t know what happened over the past year, but maybe there’s something in his life that changed so I’m trying to be as far as possible, but it is very, very hard this time! I never write reviews unless they’re positive. This is the first one I’ve written in seven years that has not been positive. He knows exactly what those clubs took to put together and build, and did not care. I have no problem with someone making money, I have a problem with people, insulting my intelligence and taking advantage of a good person please, don’t ever ever, ever go to this man. I drove an hour to get to him. He spent three minutes and 30 seconds with me. I guess the best I could do is pray for him. UPDATE: I sold two wedges for $90 yesterday after I left the shop. Then I’ll just show you what kind of man he is. There is no way I am selling a set of irons worth $1000 for $100. And it wasn’t missing a nine iron. As a matter fact, I replaced it with a brand new stealth nine iron worth almost $300 on its own. He just wanted to make fun of me in front of his friends, And make me feel stupid.
