The Chase Sports Bar

Group of about 12 of us. I show up and others already ate; they say the service sucks. I'm starving from work and just made it out in time to not be too late. I order a burger and get a beer and pay upfront, $19.50. I tip $12.50 to entice better service for myself. Beer shows up within 10mins, but now it's been about 30mins and my beer is gone. Party went upstairs to play pool, coworker hangs with me at the bar. I sit at the bar with an empty glass. I wait about 10mins, I tell my coworker... I see no one eating, I'm waiting 30mins for my food... I sit at the bar with an empty glass and no one has approached me. He says I'm not trying to get their attention, I say dude, I left a party of 12 to sit at the bar with an empty glass... That is enough to get attention. Anyways I finally get someone and say it's been at least 30mins with food, she tells my waitress that I haven't seen since I got my beer, and then nothing for 5mins or less and a fresh burger comes out. -she forgot it at the window. So I wouldn't say just she is at fault, but no one in the kitchen chen is going to say anything about a burger sitting for 30mins? Disappointing for how dead it is here.

Great spot for a burger and beer coming from someone who lives out of state. Would definitely recommend it. Food comes out hot and fresh in just a few minutes. Nice friendly bar staff. I had the PB&J burger it was phenomenal!

This was my first time meeting friends here. It's a low-key place with a full bar menu and juke box. It's sports-themed, and it's in the downtown Jackson area. The food is typical bar food. We had salads and burgers along with some appetizers. It was all good.
