The Canadian Icehouse

This was my first time at this location. The atmosphere inside was great, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The steak bites were perfectly cooked and delicious. The dirty fries were fairly tasty, I did expect a better cheese sauce though. The dry ribs were overdone but still edible. Parking is difficult. The transient people outside the front door were a bit off putting, unfortunately that is the neighborhood and they have no control over that. I will definitely return in the future and would recommend this as a great place for dinners and events!

It was a good haloween glow party. Upstairs or rooftop would have been to have opened but there was still a dj and dance floor. The one bathroom was Pretty destroyed im not going to say anything but if you were there you'd know lol.

HORRIBLE service. They didn't let us know about a policy when my friends and I went to sit at the bar and ordered food and drink after being off work. The bartender gave us our bill and we said we had to pay right away as per 'policy'. I've eaten and drank at the bar before, and have never heard of said policy. We didn't get our food yet and found it weird as we are not wanting to pay before eating. We ended up deciding to transfer to a table, and we received our food. When the lovely server Tessa came to check in on us and our order, we asked to order another round of drinks and she then proceeded to tell us that we were not allowed to but she would give us one more round because we just got our food. We were appalled and just decided to not get another one and grab our bills. We asked to have our bill transferred back to the bartender as we planned on not tipping him because his attitude was awful to all of us and we didn't want to put the server out. My one friend I was with went to talk to the manager about getting our bills transferred back and that how that's how it was going to be because our server did not serve us. She proceeded to come back to our table and leaned into my friend and screamed at him accusing him of threatening her, when there was never any threat. As a hospitality worker of 12 years, I'm completely irate and will never return
