The BackYard Golf

I can't believe it took me until the end of summer to discover this place! Even although it was a rainy day, I had the best with with my youngest, chipping around, playing fun shots, setting up challenges, and then going to play the nine hole. The young man, Max, that met us at the entrance was super enthusiastic in spite of the weather too - a real contrast with another local par 3 where we'd struggled to find room to have the kids move from the driving range to the course. This felt like a great place for them to get to grips with the basics of the game without feeling pressure. For me, as I said, I wish I'd found it before the summer was over. Would love to come back with some friends. A great addition to the local golf scene.

The design and quality of the turf and setup are top-tier — it's the kind of spot you'd expect to find at a private club or tour facility. What makes it even better is the vibe. It's an awesome date night option with the patio just steps away, and the perfect place to introduce juniors or new golfers to the game in a low-pressure, high-fun environment. They’ve really nailed the balance between performance and play. Well done, highly recommend.
