The Back Nine Golf | Leawood, Kansas City, KS

First time visiting KC and discovered this indoor golf simulator because it was raining all weekend. Super laid back atmosphere and you can bring your own drinks. Owner was super helpful with going over how to use the simulator, and also helped me find locations closer to home. Highly recommend this place, the technology is insane and it’s very cool to track your swing. Lots of cool courses to play. Biggest pro is being able to play in any weather and any time of the day.

5/5 — Such a fun spot, even for non-golfers! My partner and I were both first-timers at The Back Nine in Leawood, and honestly, we had a blast. We’re not big golfers (my partner way more than me), but this place made it super easy to just jump in and have fun. The facility itself is really nice—clean, modern, and clearly well taken care of. The owner was there when we arrived, and he personally helped us get everything set up, which was such a great touch and really made us feel comfortable and welcome. Each bay has its own TV, so you can put on whatever game or show you want while you play. There’s also a sound bar you can connect your phone to for music, plus a mini-fridge for any drinks you bring along. It’s totally BYOB, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and customizable. As for the actual golfing: the system had a bunch of different games, plus full courses with tons of cool options already loaded. Even as someone who doesn’t golf much, it was super approachable and really fun. We would definitely go again! Perfect for a date night, a group hang, or just something different to do without needing to be an avid golfer.

The Back Nine in Leawood is incredible. It feels like a private club having access from my phone to get in anytime I book a tee time. My friends and I used it for the first time last week and had a blast. We decided to make sure we get together once or twice a week now. It's great b/c we can book a tee time on our phone anytime we want. We all have young kids so we meet after the kids are in bed. Wives are still happy and us dad's are able to hit balls without being in trouble with our better-halves!
