The Amelia Island Club

Joining the Amelia Island Club was one of the best choices we made during our first year of retirement. Whether we are spending the day enjoying the Ocean Clubhouse beach amenities or entertaining out of town guests for Sunday brunch at the Long Point Clubhouse, we feel welcome and cared for. We especially appreciate the healthy lifestyle that membership offers. Heated pools at both the Ocean Clubhouse and Fitness Center provide the perfect opportunity to swim laps regardless of the weather. The Fitness Center also has several rooms of aerobic and weight machines that allow you to tailor your workout depending on the fitness goals you wish to achieve. We have also found that the natural beauty of Amelia Island is preserved and showcased by the Amelia Island Club. The pristine beach, live canopy of oak trees and shaded walking trails provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy every day in and around the Ocean clubhouse. Most importantly, the friends we have made and the associates that we meet have given us an almost immediate sense of community in our new home.

It is a fantastic private club with a dedicated 18 golf course and an access on a preferred basis to a second 18 hole in a nine hole course. The tennis center is excellent. Obviously, the beach facilities are really good. All of the club restaurants are incredible and extremely good values. And the Fitness Center is pretty nice as well.

Great place really enjoyed my visit there will be back this summer.
