Target

It’s hard to know if Target reads these reviews, the store itself is quite nice, for a target. The associates are fairly nice. I’m writing a review based on my return/exchange experience at the Elmira Store with the Customer service employee named Angie regarding the Target Brand, Cat and Jack products. Clearly states on Target’s website and App: “Target Owned Brand items: If you’re not satisfied with any Target Owned Brand item, return it within one year with a receipt for an exchange or a refund.” Copy and pasted directly from the website. I had several items to return, all within the 1 year time frame. These items were all Cat and Jack and we were dissatisfied for multiple reasons with the products. Per Target policy, we are allowed to a return on these products. Angie was firm and stood her ground, which I admire. She was misinformed, did not complete her training, forgot the policy, or perhaps the customer service culture within the Elmira location does not follow company policy regarding returns with Target Owned Brands. She also used her right to refuse a return when we challenged her interpretation of the return policy with Target owned brands. Come on Target.

I’m very disappointed with the Target in Big flats, NY. Within the past 2 weeks, I stopped by target to pick up a few things, and I also wanted a snack. I went to the Pizza Hut express to get popcorn…and there was a sign that said “we’re currently closed” yet there was popcorn in the machine already made. I found an employee and asked “can I buy some popcorn?” The woman said, “she went on break and I don’t know when she’ll be back. This was at noon….what the heck!!!!!! Why have that place in your store, if you can’t keep it open around lunchtime?! Then I tried to ask a Starbucks employee, and that said “we’re not trained to do that”. What the heck!!!!!!!???? This has happened 3 times within 2 weeks. You need to hire more people, or close the snack bar!!!!! Very frustrating experience!!!!!!

Poor management messy store. Drove an hour for an in stock item and the employee told me it was outback and wouldn’t get put out until there was a shelf location Walmart would have went outback and gotten the item. Poor customer service.
