Studio Golf San Diego

Been a member at Studio Golf for a few months now and it is such a great and unique golf experience not only in San Diego, but in the country. What separates Studio Golf is the all-inclusive environment (golf, gym, social events, etc) and the awesome members and staff they have. I also want to specifically highlight my experience taking lessons with Lincoln. As I was really struggling with my golf game (and therefore, confidence over the ball), I bought a lesson-pack with Lincoln and within a couple of lessons saw IMMEDIATE improvement. What seemed like pretty simple tweaks and adjustments to make have resulted in a quick and significant improvement in my ball-striking consistency and then, subsequently, my overall confidence on the golf course! What I have appreciated most about Lincoln is through lessons with him, I now have the ability to self-diagnose somewhat so I can work on my game and improve whether I'm practicing or playing on my own. Can't recommend SG or taking lessons with Lincoln enough!

Nothing less than 5 stars given the amount of time I spend here. The hitting bays and technology are top notch, but they’ve also created a super comfortable environment. Alex is an incredibly knowledgeable coach off the Mike Bender coaching tree (iykyk). He has helped me immensely to understand the proper positions, movements and, using trackman and sportsbox, numbers that I should be practicing to achieve. He does it in an easily digestible way and can help anyone from a beginner to a plus handicap. An underestimated benefit from a membership at Studio Golf is the ability to absorb information and ask questions of the coaches who are around all the time- not off in their own private corner of the range. And they’re happy to do it

San Diego, Golf Studio – Thank You. I’ve taken lessons from several instructors over the years, but Alex Shattuck stands out above them all. In just four lessons over one month, he helped me lower my average score by six strokes — something I didn’t think was possible in such a short time. Alex has an exceptional ability to communicate complex swing mechanics in simple, practical terms. He doesn’t just tell you what to fix — he shows you why it matters and how to feel the right motion. His deep understanding of the golf swing is matched by his clear explanations and patient coaching style. What really impressed me was his use of training tools and visual aids that made each session engaging and effective. Every drill had a purpose, and the feedback was immediate and easy to understand. If you’re serious about improving your game — whether it’s driving consistency, ball striking, or scoring — Alex is the real deal. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Iron Fitting with David A: David knew all the clubs, shafts, and metrics very well. David is a super nice guy and he made the fitting fun and helped me learn more about why I needed a certain type of shaft/club. I’d recommend a fitting with David to anyone. The studio golf facility is very nice as well.

I’ve been a member at Studio Golf since they opened in January, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The facility is state-of-the-art, which makes practice sessions both effective and enjoyable. The coaching staff leverages the tech to provide very precise feedback, so I know exactly what to work on and look for when practicing. That is probably what differentiates this place most from the range. It allows you to see and correct swing issues immediately by reviewing video from high-speed cameras filming from multiple angles. The swing videos are then accessible from my account so I could see my progress over time. Just as important, the atmosphere is welcoming. Everyone on the team is friendly, helpful, and clearly invested in helping golfers succeed. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to fine-tune your skills, I highly recommend Studio Golf.
