SPADE MASHIE

SPADE MASHIE is an absolutely beautiful spot in Dartmouth for Golf Simulators and Lessons. I just learned about it today, actually. Plenty of spacious Brand Spanking New Simulators (4 of them) with state of the art sensor technology and pretty much any course you can think of to play. Also, there is very good sized putting green to practice, the place is quite huge actually with very high ceilings and large windows looking out the 2nd Floor. It is very unique to the city, and includes a nice bar area to relax and watch the pros on a nice flat screen. This place would be great for large groups and events... a much larger facility than GolfZon or any of the other local simulators that I have tried. Most importantly, I feel Spade Mashie has an excellent "Vibe" and super friendly staff... Conrad was great, kind enough to give me a tour of the place when I showed up totally randomly, and even trusted me with his own sweet Sim 2 driver to test out the simulator. Kelsey at the bar was an absolue sweet heart and quick on the taps. And of course all the staff seemed to be Golf lovers themselves 👌 Very impressive place, I highly recommend checking it out! (5/5) For me. Will definitely be back. Great deals in the off-season (Summer) and a tournament style league to test your medal against other players. We golfers here in NS only get to enjoy the courses about 6/7 months, but staying sharp all year round is certainly possible here! Really great hidden gem! We rented this place for a few hours with a big group of friends and it was a blast. Very clean and nice space. No one had any trouble setting up the simulators. And the staff was friendly. There’s also a darts area, and an area just for sitting and chatting.

An incredibly clean, calm and friendly sim spot. TOPS in my books by comparison to the other unstaffed, unclean sims in the HRM. Love the lounge and the free darts, putting and practice area. Not to mention what seems to be growing Pro Shop options! Clubs, gloves, balls, and gift cards are making my Christmas shopping that much easier.

Chaotic league with minimal communication. 4 days before the league started (oct 28th) I had to reach out myself to get a direction, instruction and out tee time. Upon arriving they immediately solicited cash for (the days fee, fair but no one said cash only), and for a closest to the tee challenge (was never made aware)….. only instructions we were given was “bay 4 all the way at the end”. The employees seemed more focused on quickly jumping into my spot when I got my son food than they did about providing any instruction on how to get started. They had just communicated (oct 28th) that my buddy and I would be alone so instead of paying a babysitter I figured this would be the only time my son could hang out with me and his uncle as we anticipated having partners every weekend and this was a rare chance. They admitted to the oversight yet made no attempt to offer a make up round or refund just today’s fees…. Come to find out I was dealing with ownership the entire time lol. Cool concept but lacking a hospitality based manager that can build repeat customers and views them as clients, not easy $20 bills.
