Had a private room/event booked months in advance. When we arrived we were told they double booked and we could only have the space for 2 hours. The place is not in good shape, the lights are dim to hide how disgusting everything is, and there's very little space to move around. They don't serve food, so you bring your own, but they don't have anything to set up for serving, so if you didn't bring your own extension cords and serving utensils, you're out of luck. The bartenders and servers were friendly at least. But, they were out of several items and the bartender made the worst Long Island Iced Tea I've ever had. Overall, horrible atmosphere, dirty, unkempt, and poorly managed.

We stayed as our family had no othe place at the time. Bar tab was in correct was charged for drinks we did not order. We will not return and beware they will rip you off and leave you high and dry.

Then, just one hour before our event, they called to say they'd given our reserved space away to another party--with zero warning, no alternatives offered, and no refund options discussed upfront. This left our group scrambling with no venue, no time to pivot, and a lot of disappointed guests turning up empty-handed. The lack of accountability was shocking; their response was a vague apology without any real resolution or compensation. If you're considering this spot for birthdays, reunions, or any group event, steer clear. Reliability is everything for special occasions, and Sky Music Lounge failed spectacularly here. Instead of canceling outright, they tried to squeeze us into the main lounge area like it was some kind of favor. The live band was blasting at ear-splitting levels the entire night; conversation was literally impossible. We couldn't hear the person sitting right next to us, let alone carry on a celebration. People were shouting, covering their ears, and many ended up leaving early. What was supposed to be a joyful milestone event turned into an embarrassing, stressful disaster. The lounge might work for casual drop-ins or solo band nights, but for anything requiring trust in bookings? Look elsewhere--plenty of better options in Ballwin for events without the drama.
