Silver Brooke Golf Club

My son and I arrived early for his first round ever. He was nervous and Andrew helped make him feel very relaxed. We played the first half and had a great time. He even beat me on a couple of holes! The course was in excellent condition, everyone we met were very encouraging with him and the day was a tremendous success. I highly recommend this club and course also for its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful country setting!

Course is nice. I usually play at Bear Creek but friends who are members here told me it’s similar conditions, similar price but better atmosphere Tee’d off at 3:30pm and was told to bring carts back at 7:30pm. At 7:16PM, we are on 17th hole, middle fairway and marshal comes up and says we are done, get off the course. Still full daylight. When we say it’s not time yet, he says “finish 17 but don’t touch 18, just head back”. We did not get the twilight price that starts at 4pm. We paid for a full regular weekend 18. Playing the best round of my life and arguing with a “Marshall” about being allowed to finish the round. Again, staff in the bar and clubhouse was great, course is nice for the price. 1 idiot trying to be a hero for no reason wrecks a round and the chances of me (and 2 friends) from returning. It’s a shame because I love the idea of these small gem tracks. But when you’re kicked off a course after 3hrs 46min and made to feel unwelcome at a golf course in full daylight still is so disappointing. Just go to Bear Creek or even the course at Base Borden for similar price and conditions but far better experience

Slow players were too many on this course today. A really slow player came and played, but didn't even meet a marshal once. Eventually, we played for 5 hours. The course conditions were just average, and the greens were slow. The only good thing was that the cart lady was very kind, which is why I gave it one star. Still, it's a course I never want to visit again.
