Shake Shack, Union Square – NYC Essential Let me be brutally honest: if you leave New York without hitting Shake Shack at Union Square, you’ve officially failed at life. That crispy, juicy, smash-grilled patty, dripping with cheddar, nestled in a soft, pillowy bun—it’s cheeseburger perfection. Seriously, it doesn’t get better than this. The beverage Fifty-Fifty was too blend and mild for me. I would recommend a Diet Coke, not the famous 50/50. And yes, if my stomach had been a little bigger, I would’ve eaten two. Don’t even question it. This is one of those rare burgers that demands your full attention, bite after glorious bite. MUST GO! Seriously.

Have stopped at this shake shack many times. I often find the chicken sandwiches and burgers are quite messy and always fall apart but the flavor is always good. Most recent trip solely for the Dubai chocolate shake and it was well worth the stop, definitely recommend.

We got 5 truffle burgers and every single one was delicious. We ordered pickup for lunch and the burgers were double patties and very delicious. The truffle deal is just so good and the food came relatively quick. Also, the restaurant had a lot of space still.
