James is fantastic! I’ve been able to spend time with him at Athletify as well as at a local course for some lessons. James has years of experience playing and coaching and was able to provide guidance based on my swing type and characteristics. I’m currently a single digit handicap so getting the fine tuning done for my swing was important without changing everything about my game! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable coach who is smart, kind and friendly, James is a perfect match. I’m going to be referring all of my friends who are looking for support to him regardless of if they’re new to golf or have been playing for years.

If anyone is looking for a very knowledgable and great golf instructor, look no further James is your guy. When i first met James i really didn't know what to expect going into my first lesson, and before it i was kind of nervous because i never had someone watch my swing and give me feedback about it. But James was super friendly right from the start which made me feel comfortable and i knew i was going to have a solid first lesson, and it was. It was so good that i ended up securing 5 more lessons with him during the 2022 season. Over the course of those 5 lessons he gave me great tips on course management, helped me gain confidence in my ball striking and awesome drills to work on when at the range, from knock down shots, approach shots, green side chips, gnarly flop shots and some buttery bunker shots that i still work on to this day and it has been a game changer in helping me take my game to the next level. Going into my first lesson i was a 25 handicap and now my handicap is around 14 and my game has never felt better. I just want to say thank you again to James for everything he taught me and i would highly recommend you reach out to him if you're thinking about taking lessons to improve your game.

Booked a session with James at athletify! So knowledgeable and informative! He had me striking the ball much better after just one session. Will be going back for at least a few more sessions before golf season begins! Highly recommend!
