I rented the house with close friends, but t accommodated well the 15 of us! Really enjoyed our stay, the cabin is very private and peaceful, and if you would like to go to downtown Nelson, it is only a 10-13 min drive. Nicole was very responsive, sent all the instructions in advance and offered flexible check in/out, which was pretty awesome. There are lots of games to play, hot tub, hiking trails nearby. My friends and I felt at home, shared good moments and created lots of lovely memories at Nicole’s place.

Stayed at Sproule Creek Chalet with a group of ski buddies for a week of skiing with Valhalla powder cats and a few days at Whitewater. The accommodations were perfect for our group, with each of us having a room to ourselves. The Chalet would also be pefect for a group of families traveling together that don’t want to be crowded into a single home as it has two full living spaces including two kitchens and multiple dens/tv rooms. The hot tub and multiple fireplaces were essential for post ski relaxation, and the close proximity to Nelson made running into town for dinner an easy decision (although we also took advantage of the kitchens and outdoor grille to cook at home a few nights as well). The chalet is well decorated and was spotlessly clean, with little touches like live plants and ski memorabilia making only feel like a mountain sanctuary. The owners/hosts Nicole and Mike were very helpful, responsive, and accommodating with lots of recommendations on restaurants and things to do in town and even shared some secret local powder kegs at whitewater mountain. Highly recommend this exceptional location to anyone looking for the perfect ski or summer retreat with plenty of space but still close enough to town for easy accessibility.

We had a great stay at Sproule Creek Chalet. The space comfortably accommodated our large group. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the wood fireplaces. The chalet is in a beautiful, quiet location, but is also only a 2-minute walk from the Sproule Creek hiking trails, a 10-minute drive to Nelson, and a 30-minute drive from Whitewater Ski Resort. Nicole is a great host and was very responsive. Would absolutely recommend staying here!
