My wife and I are very impressed with the conditions of this golf course The greens putt very true and hold shots very well. And the turf is amazing for compressing iron shots. Hats off to the professional ground crew that keep it in such good shape I witnessed their efforts in catering such great golf conditions

An oasis in the dusty part of New Mexico was a great find for a round of golf. I've been trying to come out and play Rockwind for a number of years but I just have no business in that part of New Mexico. This time on my way back from vacation I decided to take a side trip over and I'm glad I did. A well laid-out golf course. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. They also have a par 3 course just off to the side a little bit. Definitely recommend if you're out in that part of New Mexico to jump in and play around at Rockwind

So the pace of play absolutely sucks no matter what time you come. They let beginner groups of 5 and 6 go who of course DO NOT understand golf etiquette to let others play through. Good luck trying to find someone inside that cares as well...as long as groups pay, they don't care about 6+ hour rounds. There is no marshall, so you basically have to skip 3-4 holes per round to get through. The course is nice...they should just find someone that has some semblance of a clue on how to run one out here managing it. If you don't mind waiting at every tee box forever, this is the place for you!
