I've been privileged to play many of the top 100 courses in America. from Pebble, to Augusta, to the Ocean Course and many others. They have earned their rankings for a reason....they are impeccable, phenomenal courses. While Riverside will not be ranked with the courses of that stature, I find it to be a WONDERFUL golf experience. Each time I have played it, it has been presented in fantastic condition. The greens are among the most challenging I have experienced. They are lightning fast and beautifully contoured. The greens are a true challenge, but getting there is no cakewalk either. The front nine will regularly kick you in the teeth. Two killer par fours to open with will often have you playing catchup. The back nine is definitely more benign, but it has challenges of its own as well. If you have the opportunity, by all means get ready for a wonderful challenge and a delightful day on the course.
We were " lucky" to be able to host a funeral luncheon here due to the kindness of a member. Lovely venue, exceptional food and super helpful staff.
