River Valley Bmx

We accidently ran across this park when we were exploring in the spider convertable. Its for sale! 2003 v6. Fun to drive. Anyway, we stumbled on this park as they were starting a race. I didnt know we had these type of bmx tracks here. The kids and adults looked so happy to run the track. I even saw a 3 year old out there. He was so confident. Everyone was welcoming and kind. There are trails to walk along the river

I live a quarter of a mile down the road from here it's always been one of my favorite local places to go hangout watch races are play some golf

I was lounging in the shade on a hot day under a tree talking with some friends and a Pierce County sheriff pulled up and told me that the park was privately owned and I needed to leave and never come back because the owner called him and asked him to make us leave. He also said Pierce County Parks does not own riverside at all, I can not camp there, and the sheds had been broken into, so I had to go and never return but he was not going to run many names and trespass me or my friends. First of all, Riverside Park, the park where the bmx track is located, IS owned by Pierce County Parks. Look up parks on their website, and you will find it listed. Secondly, anything that had been broken into had nothing to do with me or my friends. I am NOT a felon and have not one thing on my record at all, neither do they, so that was way out of line. And, I was picnicking, not camping. It was the middle of the day, and it says on their website that it is allowed. I guess my social experiment has proven that people judge and treat others on how their vehicle looks and not on their actions. Maybe I had a bad experience with the sheriffs not necessarily the track but that is where I was so I now do not like it there. FYI: just because someone has a horribly dilapidated vehicle, does not mean they are felons without a cause just running around committing crime. I am very poor and cannot afford to purchase a better vehicle and have to fix everything on my own. I pass a federal background check and have never had one warrant.
