I have been wanting to visit Puttery for a while, so when I saw that the Holly Jolly Holiday popup bar had arrived, it felt like the perfect excuse to finally go. I was already across the street at the Downtown DC Holiday Market, so I grabbed the first available reservation on Friday at 5:15. Puttery is a charming spot and now I definitely want to come back for a full round of mini golf. The Holly Jolly Holiday popup is set in its own section and has a cheerful holiday vibe with cute decor touches and small photo opportunities. I wish the space had been a bit larger, but it still felt fun and cozy. The cocktail menu features a nice mix of festive drinks. I ordered the Jolly Pear 75 made with spiced pear liqueur, gin, lemon and sparkling wine. It was bright, lightly sweet and very seasonal. I paired it with the Parmesan truffle fries, which were crispy, flavorful and had a strong truffle aroma that actually delivered. The bartenders were warm and welcoming and the whole experience had an easygoing holiday feel. If you are looking for a festive seasonal outing, Holly Jolly is a fun addition to your holidays list and pairing it with a mini golf game at Puttery makes the visit even better.
Was a interesting experience. We arrived late got right in with our Tix but service was slow but the next group came in sooner after and it was busy. Service was slow overall but friendly. Way over priced and cheap cheap decorations but we enjoyed going to DC and it's close to the holiday market. The welcome menu was extremely limited only 3 options but tasted good. My thoughts are way over priced for what you get. The clydes restaurant and holiday market had way better decorations Would not again unless it was free .
It was our first time here and it was a HUGE BLAST AND GREAT VIBE! If you’re looking for a fun holiday spot in DC, Puttery is the place. The Holly Jolly Holiday event was solid from start to finish, and the vibe inside was exactly the mix of festive and fun you want this time of year. Huge shoutout to our host, Antwon (Antoine) — absolute MVP of the night. Super friendly, kept the energy up, checked in on us, made sure everything ran smooth, and honestly just made the whole experience better. You can tell he loves what he does. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, the holiday setup, and Antwon holding it down, this was definitely a 10/10 night. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in DC for the season! 🎄🍸⛳️ or even outside the holidays!!!!!!! will definitely be back!
