Precise Golf Fitting Studio

MGYSGT USMC- I discovered golf late in life due primarily to the nature of my work. Following retirement, I became interested in golf by going out with a retired men’s group several times a week. When I became committed to getting better, I made an appointment with PING to have a fitting in the summer of 2024. I flew to Scottsdale, AZ and for my fitting by a PING fitter on Kierland Golf Course in Scottsdale, AZ. I did a lot of research before settling on PING as my club of choice. I ordered the full bag (PING 340) to include the PING Tour Bag according to the recommendations received from the PING fitter. I learned to play in 2024 with my new set of PINGs and a little help from my friends. After regularly playing a year, I was shooting high 90s down from 110-115. I golfed enough to know what I am looking for in my game. After the scores began to decline, I began to try everything to control the ball flight, direction, and distance. New clubs (technology infused) were out and all the hype that goes along with it. I bought several PING clubs from various Pro Shop showroom floor however, they simply didn’t perform as expected or as explained by the staff. For example, I bought the new PING G440 4W to extend the second shot on the par 4 and 5. The reason for the need for a new 4W was because I never really could hit my long irons with confidence. I rarely used irons (G430) at all because I never hit them well. I began thinking about getting a second fitting now that my game was improving however, I felt my clubs, albite outstanding quality, didn’t fit my swing parameters particularly well. That’s when I discovered Patrick Federico at Precise Golf Fitting Studio in Melbourne, FL. I researched online and read the reviews not unlike this one. I was a walk-in and met Patrick who took time to sit down with me to discuss my interests. Pat had me drop off my bag and he completely went through the entire bag collecting all the data from each club. I mean ALL the data. Pat pays attention to detail. I am a six-time small arms shooting champion and I suppose I find myself applying the same attention to my golf gear as I do my guns. I say this because in have worked with some of the best Marine Corps armorers in the world. Pat reminded me of these professionals with his insight and experience. Pat explained that he works on an appointment only system and that I could fill out the information form provided online at his website. I filled out the information and set an appointment. I appreciate the fact that he works only by appointment because each time I was there for my appointment, Pat and I were the only people there in the studio. That means one-on-one personal attention with no distractions. Pat patiently listened as we discussed where I was and where I wanted to go with my golf game. He had me hit a few balls with various clubs while analyzing my swing and formulating a plan for clubs. Pat discussed several options as we began moving forward towards our common goal of setting me up with the right set of clubs that I could grow into and not out of. (This was my intent). Pat offered me several options which began at very in expensive to extremely expensive. The options were NO PRESSURE upgrade. My upgrade is a complete bag to improve my game. Pat’s recommendations with the shafts and weights was perfect. He built each club perfectly. He takes the time to discuss each option and the benefit. Pat called me after I had a chance to use the new clubs to follow-up. Pat will be there for any needs. It is rare to receive outstanding personal customer service AFTER the sale. Pat shares his vast knowledge with you. Correct weights and shafts make each club a unique for each swing. I highly recommend Pat to assess anyone who is updating their bag to improve their game. Receive the best fitting ever and any unique work on any club from Pat. He is an outstanding Golf fitter&club tech. (I am now shooting mid to low 80s and trending lower.) I've never been fitted before today after wanting to get back into golf and I have to say this was the most pleasant and amazing experiences. I didn't know what to really expect going into this other than what I've watched from videos but after doing research and getting opinions from others I'm glad I did and I wasn't disappointed even tho I was t able to buy clubs due to money constraints. I will say if you enjoy golf and want to understand a lot to help improve your game and time at the range or on a course then go get fitted. I can wait to make my second appointment for my drive and woods and then when I can buy my clubs. Pat was amazing and won't just try to sell you clubs he takes the time to really understand you and how you play even if you just started or you are wanting to know if there's better clubs that fit you like a glove then make an appointment!

After several months of indecisiveness on whether to get fitted or purchasing a set of clubs off the rack, I made an appointment with Patrick. It was an awesome experience, he was very thorough and explained the process. Through the fitting process I was able to get a set that fit my swing, and I've seen a vast improvement in my game...Thank you Patrick
