Located in Box Elder next to Ellsworth Air Force Base, this public 9-hole course also features an indoor golf simulator for year-round play. In addition to the simulator, the facility includes a driving range, pro shop, and snack bar. The course itself has narrow fairways and water comes into play on five holes.

This is an awesome place to eat. The food is delicious and the service is great. We didn't golf but it looks like a nice course. This place is closed now.
Best and toughest course in town. Lots of tricky elevation changes
It's a nice little course for Box Elder SD, and it does provide plenty of challenges throughout the course. The downside is with the course being in a small space. The holes are right next to each other. Plus, the greens tend to bake in the sun due to little coverage, making them super fast and tough to read at times. Overall, though, for the price you pay, it's hard to beat especially with all the courses in Rapid City being usually higher in price.
