An interesting alternative to indoor sports themed bars that also appeals to non golf players. First came Flight club with a new spin on darts, then there was indoor cricket and now we have indoor golf that isn’t miniature. Let’s start with location. Just off Spinningfields this is as clean cut, upmarket, modern and as far removed from the alternative hipster vibe that characterises the Northern Quarter. I can easily picture a few KCs from the chambers across the road traipsing over before or after dinner in Spinningfield after a long day spent poring over briefs. But this not Pomeroy's, not by a long shot. Drinks of various descriptions abound. Mixologists will aim to please and I’ve stopped ordering from the menu and leave it up to them to surprise me. The results of this method have never failed to please and amaze me in equal measure. Amusement wise you have a choice of fancy video golf that makes you realise why the Wii was such a hit. There’s also shuffleboard, which will enthuse Manchester’s fairer sex. Their hemlines and stilletos will be more compatible with this than in trying to keep an open club face.

Had the most amazing time at Pitch! Really impressed and blown away with the whole place, the food and service. Katrina and Nathan were absolutely brilliant and incredibly helpful throughout our visit and so friendly - they went above and beyond. We couldn’t believe how quick the food and drinks arrived too!! Whole experience was great and such a brilliant and fun activity to do with your friends (you don't need to be a pro at golf to do this!!). Will definitely be returning!!

Blown away by the quality @ Pitch Manchester Spent 3 fun, perfect hours with the team having a 5-man social session at the weekend. Great value, food was fabulous and the staff were always on hand though never intrusive. It’s really impressive and you should try it. We booked 2 hours but stayed for three. Next time we will book three hours. Our learning…. Don’t try the hardest showcase courses immediately. There’s a reason StAndrews is special…. It’s tough. Maybe play a few par-3 challenges to get familiar with the tech, the clubs and find your rhythm on the trackman, then go for it !!! Will be returning 100 percent. You should too.
