Penn Social

Attended a Profs and Pints event here. The room downstairs is big and there was plenty of space, so I didn’t feel crowded and was able to concentrate on the presentation. Food is very tasty and they bring it to you, which is a nice touch.

Always a great time at Penn Social! I attended a gala here for the second time and it was nothing short of magical. Very reasonable drink prices unlike most of DC. Bo g h levels carry a slightly didn't vibe. Imaging playing skeeball in a 3 piece formal suit with a live band on stage behind you and your favorite drink in hand! That's the magic I experienced! Pull Up!

I attended Penn Social for a Profs and Pints event about nativity scenes, which was fascinating and very well put together. Unfortunately, the venue’s service dampened an otherwise great evening. The bartender repeatedly forgot my order, and when I went to remind him, he was rude and noticeably uncooperative. He eventually made my drink, but did so begrudgingly and incorrectly, as though it were an inconvenience. Even more distracting, during the presentation he was on his phone on speaker, disrupting the talk and the atmosphere of the event. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a Penn Social event before, and it was incredibly disappointing given how enjoyable the Profs and Pints program itself was. The event deserved much better support from the venue. I hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.
