Pavillon du Golf Gatineau

As good as it can be, this is just a driving range. The price is fine and I had no issues with the staff either. One thing, some green spots in tee boxes are weared out and need to be replaced, but you can always find a decent one around.

The driving range used to offer a seasonal membership which they no longer do. The staff there are all great guys who I got along well with. They all work very hard and have all been extremely pleasant to me. Although when you're charging 20$ a basket there's a certain standard you expect from the range. -Distance markers are in poor condition or broken. -The new balls they have have zero feed back. It feels like you're hitting a halo ball. -The turf you hit from are in terrible condition, and no tray to dump your basket into. -The parking lot looks like a warzone with the multiple pot holes as you enter. Place is in dire need of some TLC

I’m so disappointed with how much the Pavillon du Golf has declined since last year. We had a membership and went multiple times a week for both practice and lessons, but the changes this season were shocking. The mats are so worn out (some even missing), dividers are cracked and broken, and the balls are old—recently replaced with low-quality knockoff range balls. There are no trays for the balls, the tees are in bad shape, and the club rentals are in terrible condition. There also seems to be tension between staff and coaches that make the environment uncomfortable for lessons, which is a shame, because they were otherwise friendly. Even the parking lot has potholes so deep they could swallow a golf cart. On top of that, memberships were cut entirely, prices were increased, and we were told it was to cover extra fees owed to the city. It’s heartbreaking to see a place we supported so often be let go like this.
