Edit Aug 2025: The worst driving range in ABQ. You cannot find a clean stance and a good lie at the same time. All the balls are beat to hell. $10 a bucket is basically stealing at this point. The balls have no dimples. The employees walk around on the range unprotected while people are hitting and get pissed if you hit near them… duh. Staff not always friendly as we had a pretty negative reaction when trying to check in with our tee time. Course in good shape, but they players obviously don’t respect the course with more ball marks on the greens than I’ve ever seen. Their carts are annoying as heck to drive. You get about 2 feet from the dirt cart paths on the outer side of the rough and you have to back up. Isn’t it better to drive on these defined paths than in the rough? It seems obvious to everyone except the folks who programmed the restricted areas. Food is good. Views are great.
I had a great experience at Paradise Hills Golf Course! The course was amazing and impeccably clean, making for a fantastic day of golfing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive atmosphere. My only frustration was with the golf cart limitation. There were times I was forced to drive on the fairway rather than the dirt path, which was a bit concerning. If this issue could be addressed, it would make the experience even better. Despite this minor issue, I highly recommend Paradise Hills Golf Course for its beautiful course and excellent staff. I’ll definitely be returning!
Worst golf course in Albuquerque. Where do I start the golf carts have limits on them at 6mph which make it a nightmare to drive. Then they lock you out for going over 6 mph. The conditions of the bunkers are just dreadful like hitting out of concrete. Unplayable really. Then the greens are torn up and cut way to tight. A pitching wedge from 120yds lands 5ft from the hole and releases like a bouncy ball off the back of the green????? Seriously. It happened at least 5 times today. I am no slouch at golf either my handicap is 0.2 I know how the irons release at short distance they should not be bouncing out 40 to 50 ft everytime. To make the whole situation worse they charge $48 for a twilight rate after 3pm. That is more than the best courses in town charge after 3pm. UNM is cheaper. Sandia is cheaper. Its a disgrace what they have done to this course. I recommend any avid golfer dont come here you will not enjoy the experience and value for money is trash.
