I was with my friend at One Under when she had a confirmed reservation for Bay 5. To our surprise, they moved us without any notice to Bay 3 — a worse simulator, with no explanation or apology. When she calmly asked what happened, the waitress rolled her eyes and said, “If you have a problem, email the manager. Don’t talk to me.” I was shocked. Her attitude was unbelievably rude, and another female staff member from the bar just stood next to her, backing her up instead of helping. Meanwhile, we watched other groups — mostly white — being welcomed warmly and given priority treatment. The difference in how we were treated was honestly hard to ignore. The simulator we were stuck with was old and the screen was so blurry it ruined the experience. No one cared. No one even tried to fix it. We left feeling disrespected and frustrated. This place charges premium prices but treats some guests like they don’t matter. I wouldn’t come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic decency.
We recently hosted a private event here for about 30 people and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When booking the event, we were told there was a $3,000 minimum spend before tax and gratuity, which we understood and planned for. What wasn’t clearly explained was that after reaching the minimum, the final bill would still include a 20% automatic gratuity, which added roughly another $1,000 to the total. Many of our guests also paid for their own drinks and tipped on those tabs, so the additional gratuity felt excessive and poorly communicated. Service during the event was also lacking. We had only one server for a party of 30, and guests were constantly asking where she was. Food had to be requested multiple times before it was brought out, plates were not cleared, and waters were rarely refilled. The food itself was good, which was one of the few positives. There were also several other issues that were surprising for a venue that hosts large group events: • The main VIP simulator had a hole in the screen, which was disappointing for a private event space. • We were initially told we couldn’t come early to set up balloons or decorations, yet when we arrived earlier we were able to walk in without any issue. • We were told there would be games set up for the group, but once we arrived the server said they were too complicated for a large party. The most frustrating part of the evening was the billing process. At the end of the night we were given multiple different totals and had to wait about 45 minutes while staff tried to figure out the final bill. We paid the bill in full, but the overall experience left us feeling like the venue does not prioritize customer experience, especially considering the amount spent. Unfortunately, I would not recommend hosting a group event here.
Blatant racial bias, rude staff, and outdated equipment — this place was a complete disappointment. From the moment we arrived, it was hard to ignore the way we were treated differently. We had a confirmed reservation for a specific simulator bay, yet we were quietly moved to an inferior one — without any notice, explanation, or apology. When I politely asked the waitress what happened, she literally rolled her eyes at me and said, “If you have a problem, email the manager — don’t talk to me.” That’s not just bad service — that’s blatant disrespect. She was cold, rude, and condescending from start to finish, while other (mostly white) groups were welcomed with smiles and attentive service. The double standard was obvious. The bay we were pushed to was old, worn-out, and the projector was so blurry we could barely see the screen. No one cared. No one tried to help. We were treated like we didn’t matter. This place charges premium prices but delivers second-rate service — unless you happen to be in their preferred demographic. If you’re a person of color, prepare to be treated like an afterthought. Never coming back.
People always ask me which is better, simulation golf or real golf. I never had an answer before but today i finally do after visiting this place. Real golf is better, but simulation golf is a lot of fun and this place made it even more enjoyable! The beer was also cold and served in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in golf or beer or both.
Although food selection is limited, the food we had was actually quite good. Tried 3 different pizzas and all were good with a very solid crust. Charcuterie board and pork sliders were good. Candy bacon also good but probably terrible for you lol. Fun atmosphere for work or play if you're into golf.
