Customer Reviews
The apartment complex is nice and the neighborhood is mostly quiet, but it feels a bit pricey — I’ve found several houses in the same school district that are cheaper than what I’m paying here, and rent is going up again soon. Parking can be very difficult to find after 6 PM. The gym and basketball court were closed most of the summer for renovations, then smelled like fresh paint for weeks. Now the electronic lock has been broken for almost two months — altogether, that’s about five months this year with no access to the amenities. On the bright side, the maintenance team is excellent — they fix things quickly, and the management staff are friendly and easy to talk to.
Someone keeps keying my car (I have eight marks over the past four months.) Someone also stole my package that the driver left on the counter in the mail room. This place is way too expensive to deal with this type of riff raff. Won't be re-signing the lease. If I wanted to live in this type of environment, I wouldn't be paying $2000/month for a 1 bedroom. We have begged management for SECURITY CAMERAS in the lots to no avail. Saying "I'm sorry - have you filed a police report?" isn't going to solve the problem. Lot surveillance in order to find and evict this awful resident who is vandalizing vehicles is the action that must be taken. Other than that, it's a nice place. Nice amenities and beautiful neighborhood. Maintenance has always been very responsive.
Janessa is the reason I'm leaving a positive. She's a good Assistant Manager. I lived here for just under a year and I'm getting ready to move out. I've been thinking a lot about my experience here lately. To be honest, it hasn't been great. I don't want bash on the team. Normal stuff that you will experience at *any* apartment community, even the super bougie ones. Management teams are humans, not robots. When I think about who "made it right" when there's been any issues, it's been Janessa that stepped up when she became aware. Being personable seems to come natural to her. Yes, a lot of managers can be good at their jobs on a technical level, hit all the metrics, do the checklist of pleasantries, etc, etc. But there's just a *way* that she handles things that make me feel like my voice *is* being heard. She didn't make me feel like I was just a problem to be managed. The human element isn't forgotten or lost in translation. She's not afraid to say "I know it's tough right now, but you got this". That's a rarity in property management. She will be a good manager one day. One that leads with kindness and compassion while keeping various interests in mind.
