Okanogan Valley Golf Club

Beautiful views!! Unfortunately the golf manager came out and said we were playing too slow at hole 1. Said it was taking us 45 min, there was a group ahead of us we were waiting for them to move. We had our family with us to watch and enjoy the day. We called ahead of time multiple times and they said they are family friendly. Golf manager got on a cart and followed us around and watched us play, at that point my brother was so stressed he left. My veteran father sat in the car to avoid the stress. Golf manager continued to follow us around with a drone. Coming from Seattle I expected a peaceful inviting environment. I've played on many courses and never experienced this. No one caught up, we didn't slow anyone down. Its too bad he made the experience negative for zero reasons 🫥

Played 9 holes here this morning and not a drone in sight. Take a deep breath conspiracy theorists. The course was in great shape (for September) and the greens were fast and rolled true. Kudos to the greens superintendent. The lady in the pro shop was pleasant and game me the lay of the land. Overall very good.

OVGC is a local club at the side of a cliff. The staff team are friendly, helpful and encouraging. They take great care of the grounds. It's a relaxed place where novice golfers and more experienced players can all play and have fun.
