Nicky Martin Golf @ Windsor Parke Golf Club

Beware of Nicky Martin -Nicky was referred to me by a close friend. After a good first lesson on 7/22/22, I paid Nicky $250 for a 3 pack lesson. Since then he cancelled 4 times, all for different reasons, always at the last minute. In that time I started working with someone else. When I requested a refund for the 2 lessons I never received, he replied "you aren't going to affect my business pal, I've been doing this a long time." If you're serious about reaching your golf goals, there are more reliable, consistent and trustworthy instructors in Jax.

I'm a beginner golfer and wanted to learn how to play. I met Nicky Martin at a local golf store, he gave me his card and said he could teach me how to hit my new starter clubs i'd just bought. After taking lessons with Nicky my golf swing has greatly improved. It's great learning from Nicky, I would highly endorse his talent to anyone who aspires to be a better golfer.

Do not waste your time or money. Went to Nicky for a series of 3 lessons. Got the first lesson in on 8/9/22. After trying to numerous times to schedule the next lesson I was cancelled on 4 times. 1st was due to him “ripping down a fence.” Seems like you would attend to your job and prior obligations. Don’t think I could pull the same excuse for my work and still have a job. 2nd cancellation was him “falling out from the heat” only to see him across the range actively working with someone else in my time slot. 3rd time was “engine trouble”…starting to see a pattern here. 4th was the only justified due to the range being closed. However, when I asked if we could do them elsewhere I received no response. When I then told him I’d like my money back he then responded (of course). Initially he said yes and then went back on it a couple days later. He claimed in his “extensive career” he’s never given a refund and didn’t fail to state how long he’s been doing these lessons several times. I see another post claiming the same thing. Seems to be a reoccurring theme now. I will be reaching out to Windsor parke and pursue my refund.
