This hidden gem on base is perfect if need to touch up on your short game. Although the range has a net where you can't see full ball flight there are short holes to tune up your wedge game.

No where in other golf courses that would charge people for using practice area. I was just chipping at the chipping area late after work, and some guy just came up to me said I need to pay. Must be short on cash after renovation

There is an extremely large opening in the net that allows struck golf balls to go through. I watched a young man hit ball after ball through this large tear in the netting. Hitting cars and whatever else was there. I'm abit shocked that the Navy would allow this facility to remain open until the netting is fixed. I guess they are waiting for a golf ball to strike and seriously hurt a person before they fix it. Do better!
