Mountain Woods

Just played here in mid September and the course was in good condition. Greens were quick and in great shape. There is no sprinkler system for the fairways and that leads to inferior conditions but just play the fairways in 'lift clean and place' conditions and you will enjoy your round more. Depending on your physical condition this is not a walkers course (but I did see some) as there are many elevation changes and long walks between greens and tee boxes. Another thing to deal with is dusty cart paths so if riding a power cart keep your distance from the cart in front of you. There are a few blind shots which isn't for every golfer out there and two holes in particular that stand out as requiring local knowledge. Hole 7 and 13... To each their own but not my favourite holes. Another reason to have a cart just to see if the way is clear. Staff was very friendly and the cost was fair compared to other Moncton area courses. Overall I recommend a nice day of golf here but be aware of elevation changes and fairway conditions. If you read this then you know what to expect... Just have fun with it!

Beautiful course, signage is a bit confusing. We got to the 9th hole and Marshall told us we needed to hurry along and told us there was a hole and 1/2 gap between us and the next group when in reality we waited the majority of the holes for the group ahead of us, which was fine we were in no rush and they were a fantastic group. Made us feel out of place and rushed . We were a group of 4 playing best ball and moving right along .

Just golfed for the first time there and enjoyed the challenges. One thing that has to be addressed is the Marshall trying to push you along while we were waiting 7 of 9 holes which we didnt mind. I spoke my mind saying we also were waiting in which we didnt mind. Nice course but rude Marshall. We played best ball and shot a very low score. Considering it was my birthday, it put a bad taste in my mouth about driving back up.
