Mission Hill of Hayward Driving Range

We were there from 11-12:30 on a sunny day. We can’t hardly see where the ball lands and I believe it’s because the grass is sun faded. See the pictures and compare the the mound and the fairway. This fading makes it hard to see where the ball lands which is why we are at the range in the first place. In addition, the upstairs has no distal display. Please add it. It would be great if the owner can spray the lawn again to bring the green back. I will increase the rating if the change occurs.

This driving range is good and is not overcrowded But the manager is a complete disappointment, I took the day off to go and work on my driver, I figured I should be there when they open at 9:00. Waited in my truck until 9:10 and notice it was still closed. By 9:30 a bunch of people were already at the range and they picked up Andrew balls laying around to kill time, I called the restaurant to see why the range wasn't open and they had no clue. After waiting until 10 am I decided to grab 30 of my personal golf balls and to warm up, I ran out of golf balls and I decided to go do what everyone else was doing and grabbed about 15 balls that were on the side of the range. That's when Mr Lee (the manager)showed up 10:15 and starts to scream at me and threatened me with calling the cops and saying I was trespassing I told him I was just tired of waiting and he said you should leave the range now.(There was other people there hitting golf balls they picked up from the range) I responded that if they would have opened at 9 like they are supposed to all of this would have been avoided. Mr Lee opened the rage at 10:25 I hate seeing a good place like this get ruined by a manager that can't do his job.

This is a nice driving range. In the front of driving range, you can practice shots in the sand or putting. Overall great place to go with your friends for a relaxing time. Cleanliness: Overall the area was clean and grass looked great. Balls get picked up about every 30 minutes. Ambience: The crowds is nice. Seems to be popular with all ages at this driving range. You can see graffiti outside the net, but isn't that prevalent. We did see a fox run by at the net as well. Grass was bright and colorful.
