Matchplay Golf and Sports Lounge

I really love Match Play. I primarily go there for the golf, but the food is really good and the atmosphere is too. There staff is really outstanding. James, who is the manager that I interact with the most, really cares about the customer experience. He perfectly balances the golf side of things, with the restaurant side of things to ensure that all customers have the best experience possible. The waitstaff and bar staff are so friendly and accommodating. They are attentive if you want food, and just attentive enough to make sure you are okay if you want to be left alone to play golf seriously. This place is so welcoming and the vibe is just awesome whether it is for a golf league night, trivia night or Monday Night Football. I also had a great lesson with Austin. He listened to what I wanted and delivered. He is so knowledgeable. What I wanted was a really technical break down of certain aspects of my swing and he completely delivered. He found great ways to explain things and show me both by showing me what he wanted me to do, explaining why I was getting the results I was getting and how the changes he was asking me to make would effect the results. I had several ah ha moments with him helping me and the things he taught me have been really easy to put into practice. I spent a lot of time here now and really, really enjoy it.

I love this place. The food is really good. The golf simulators are top of the line. The staff is amazing. The wait staff are super friendly and make you feel very much at home. They know when to be more attentive and when to back off and let you golf. Several of them have learned my name and make me feel like a regular. James who is the manager that interact with the most has really got that place figured out. He has created an environment that works for golf, for dining with family - yes Matchplay is VERY kid friendly, for having a few drinks with friends, for watching a game. There are also great theme nights, like league night and trivia night. I have also had a great experience getting lessons from Austin. He asked me what I was trying to get out of his instruction and completely delivered. He is really knowledgeable about the technical aspects of golf. He was able to break down the little technical things that mattered and explain them in a way that made a lot of sense to me. I wanted really technical direction and I got it. I am really pleased working with him. So if you are looking for good food, and great atmosphere or if you want to have fun playing golf or seriously work on your game, MatchPlay is a must!

This place is awesome! The food menu is limited yet offers something for almost everyone. We ordered the cheese pizza and the “Crunchwrap.” The wrap actually tasted like your favorite late night food chain favorite. The golf simulator is very well done. You can easily see the projection and every swing had a clear reading. If it didn’t, a staff member would be over right away to assist you. We will definitely be back!
