Living Stone Golf Resort

Had a great experience here! My friend took me to collingwood for my birthday and we stayed here. Every staff member we came into contact with was absolutely delightful. I think her name was Jennifer, helped us check in, really polite. The pool and hot tub were great and our room was super clean. Beds might be the most comfy thing ever. And checking out was easy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

It's my second time here and it's better now. The room is new, clean, and comfortable. It's not fancy but it has everything I need: nice bed, multiple pillows, clean towels, decent sized bathroom and counter, heater. There is no housekeeping, which does not bother me at all. They said we can get fresh towels - I will test that in a bit. It has a room with treadmill and some dumbbells. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. All the names can be confusing. Living waters, Living stone, cranberry, not sure what they are trying with all this confusion. As it's my second time here, I know my way around. There are some stores and coffee shop walking distance, but they are not great from my experience. The town with restaurants etc is a short drive away. If paying a reasonable rate, it is a nice place to be and just enjoy down time.

The room was on the upper floor as we had requested; however the streets were more like driveways with no parking allowed. We firmly believe that the area has been converted to short and long term rentals; judging by the trash everywhere overheard resident comments and profanities.||Unit was not clean; food debris in fridge and on floors.||Parking only in a very tight parking lot, no lighting and too few parking spots. NOT as depicted on their resort map.||This area of resort is mostly private residences with multiple smokers and large breeds of dogs overtly defecating, but most owners did not pick up droppings. Rusted out vehicles in parking area where drivers came/went at all hours while vehicles lacked mufflers. Two fellows made three beer runs in one day, drank in the parking lot, then tossed the empty cans in the back of their truck before driving out for another 'run'. View was another building, broken balcony lighting, kitchen and bathroom fixtures too. Resort write-up stated hot tub? Nope, you had to drive several blocks to the hot tub in the high rise hotel. Unit had two whirlpools with missing/broken hardware that appeared all stained so did not risk using them. Kitchen was strongly lacking space and working can opener, etc This was an economy grade suite at a high end resort price. We were penalized with a resort fee after stating we would not use the hotel exercise area, hot tub, etc, etc; simply put it was just another money grab.||We had stayed in another unit a few years ago and it took in excess of a full year to have our security deposit returned and that was not done until our credit card company became involved; so spend wisely.||We took several photos prior to checking out as we do not trust this resort; why you ask?
