Lions Park

Now that boiler is fixed, water is warm again and time to get into the pool again. Good staff, not crowded when we go, and equipment available to help with water workout. I don't swim laps, I use pool for aerobic exercise. And it is inexpensive!!!

Awesome staff members very friendly and always in a good mood, facility is always clean and comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes there is no where to park but its great exercise once your in the pool. Although its kid friendly with life jackets available there is no kid side. Feet ranges from 3 feet to the deep end.

This is a great place in a drug infested neighborhood. Behind the park is the majestic Davis High School. In front of the park is employee owned Bi-Mart. And one block away is comprehensive mental health which runs detox and hands out methadone and Suboxone! My visit was a quick one. I went to meet and old acquaintance and upon doing so was informed that she had found some pepper spray at the park! Wow! She asked me to check and see if it worked. I engaged the item and it worked quite well. As we were leaving, I made the mistake of rubbing my eyes not considering that some of the spray may have still remained on my fingers. I thought a bug had flown in my eyes so I rubbed them more. Next thing I know I'm bawling and rubbing and blindly running into objects. Somehow I managed to survive but not until I had went three rounds with a garbage can which wouldnt stay out of my way.
