Lighthouse Cove Bloomington

I appreciate that they are trying to be more environmentally friendly, using concrete and not artificial turf, so they get 2 stars. However, the slopes and curves, are all engineered for turf and golf balls, not bouncy mini tennis balls on concrete. Most of my group of 10 people quit playing after about 4 holes. Planning and skills didn't matter on this course, the balls went wherever and you had no control. Also, our balls got stuck most of the time in the features, so even if you got your ball into the pipe that should land you close to the hole, you still had to work to get your ball out of the pipe. Or it would get stuck on the lip because the mini tennis ball doesn't have the momentum a regular golf ball has. My family and I love mini golf and have played on many courses in at least 8 states. This one was the worst.

It is the worst course I’ve ever played for mini golf. It was made out of concrete in the ball always just rolled to the side. They also don’t use real golf balls. They use little cloth ball similar to mini tennis balls. The course was poorly constructed and impossible to play. Would not recommend coming here.

Took my daughter in for a cold drink after her oral surgery. Drinks were cold and delicious, very inventive, and served with a smile by the young man at the register. He was so polite and welcoming I asked what his name was and he told me it’s Lucas. What a great well adjusted young man with an inviting smile. I have a feeling coming here and getting cold refreshing drinks will now be a weekly tradition in our family.
